Meet Lisa Tweardy

ISL has been a true gift for my three children.  When we arrived in Lausanne, my husband and I chose ISL for our oldest child and another international school for our younger two children.  It was important to us that they immerse into the French language.  While my oldest was soaring at ISL, my other child was struggling with the other school... it was just too much.  French consumed the school days and the remaining academics fell behind.  The same was true of my youngest, English reading marks fell below the levels in which she entered.  After 1 year, we made the decision to have all three at ISL.

Fast forward to this year and our children are thriving!  Not only with academics, but with sports and activities.  There truly is something offered for all students. 

And the language immersion, well, she continues to learn French in the dual language programme. Three school days in English and two in French.  Plus, she has an amazing learning support team to help with reading/writing.  

ISL's holistic approach to teaching suits our children.  We are so happy to have chosen this school.
