Framework of our After-School Activities programme

The After-School Activities (ASA) programme encourages students to explore their talents and develop new skills, laying the groundwork for them to remain active and involved throughout their lives. Most of our activities are included in the school fees. More than 90% of students take part in at least one activity per week.

Within the holistic framework of ISL, the After-School Activities (ASA) programme provides every student with the opportunity to explore their talents, develop new skills, and be successful beyond the classroom. By trying out new things, young people discover what they are good at. They are motivated to succeed.

We base the structure of our ASA programme on the Long-Term Athlete Development Framework (LTAD) developed by the Canadian Sport for Life Society. Their research shows that children and adults will get active, reach the greatest heights of sport achievement, and–most importantly–stay active if they do the right things at the right times.
