Support Services students are treated in a holistic way to meet their different needs through a variety of
support services.
Systems which ensure that students can speak to any teacher, the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL), the school counsellors, or the DEI team, anonymously to raise concerns via a designated platform. Staff are supported by Internal People of Trust and the DEI Team as well as their line managers.
Student Voices shape the DEI approach through resource groups (Umbrella Squad, Student Ambassadors, Culture Club, Pride Alliance and Gender Equity) via which they can lead change. These are groups where students can speak to their peers and teachers in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
