In today's digital age, where real-world interactions often take a back seat to online exchanges, young people are facing new challenges in developing robust social skills, often diminishing their social confidence and fluency. The International School of Lausanne (ISL) is addressing this modern dilemma through our LAMDA sessions, given by Act2.ch, established by Marshall Sapherson in 2018. These sessions are designed to equip students with essential communication and performance skills. Here is how they are making a difference.
The Digital Dilemma
It is no secret that the surge in mobile phone usage, online leisure activities, and social media apps has significantly altered the way young people interact. This digital landscape, while rich in innovation, often limits real-world social interactions, potentially stifling the development of vital communication skills. Recognising this, ISL provides a platform through which students can reclaim these essential skills.
